Ode to My Special One, Femi Oyewale by Prince Olumide Akindiya

 

 

It gladdens my heart realising that today is birthday of my media adviser: Femi Oyewale, a journalist icon and the publisher of Sahara Weekly Magazine. We have been together for years contributing to media in our ways.

 

I remembered the first time you crossed my path at our office and my pledge to support your magazine. With your zeal and consistency you have shown that you are a great man of vision; the height you have taken the magazine to.

 

I am really apologetic for my belated birthday wish because you deserve to be visited early in the morning with a special cake from me or our law office. While plying through dilapidated roads and heavy holdup along  Badagry expressway for my daily bread at High Court sitting at Badagry, I have no choice than to salute a great man who had won a spacious space in my heart. Really, you are the one; no one, but you in building my media excellence. Have a flourishing and fun filled day!
