My Name is Odido Esther marion, I’m an event planner, an Actress and a cook.
I got into the Entertainment Industry in 2014 with the influence of Nuhu Dalyop, a movie director. I was one of the contestants for FACE OF CREW DEFINITION 2014, a Beauty Pageant which I became the second runner-up; even though i got discouraged at a point in time while I was preparing for the pageant, still Nuhu Dalyop encouraged me to continue with it, then I joined the pageant team “DC Entertainment (Definite Crew Entertainment)” after the pageant. I started my fist job in the industry as a video vixen, and as much as I got countless jobs, I wasn’t certain about doing it cause being a vixen has a lot to do with body exposure which I was not really prepared for so I stopped doing video vixen in 2016.
I switched to acting in 2016, my first acting job was a comedy skit. I have featured in several comedy skits and movies with some popular comedians like Babadebaba, factual comedy, Jennifer’s dairy, Lagos boys & Awaro etc.
I have met amd worked with a lot of popular faces in the entertainment industry, so far I have shot my own short film too. I’m currently part of the team for Miss Gbagada International Beauty Pageant.
I’m also now the Event Manager for DC Entertainment, powering my event that I do every November titled “Trapped In Sin City”, it’s a house party which I created for the lovers of indoor fun.
Also DIDO’S TREAT came along the way, I figured that in the industry there’s always room for welfare and since I’m a very good cook I decided that adding my cooking skills to acting would create more money and opportunities to me. Major challenge is when I do voluntary jobs for people and they don’t appreciate it, Its sickening and those are the same people who blab about you behind your back.
By 2020 I should fully open my own fully fixturized restaurant and it will be called DIDO’S TREAT, and I will be making big movies too.
My advice to Nigerians youths – “They should Keep pushing, never be discouraged. Do what you love and love what you do. The sky would be your starting point”.
