Ogun Journalist, Omoh Esene Is Dead

A broadcast journalist, Omoh Esene, is dead.

He died on Tuesday, his family said.

A statement by the Nigeria Union of Journalists, signed by its Secretary, Soji Amosu, said the deceased worked at the Ogun State Television, OGTV, where he rose to become head of news before his redeployment to the Ministry of Information and Strategy where he retired.

“He was a bridge builder, a journalist of note and a playmaker whose vacuum created by his death would be greatly difficult to be replaced,” Mr. Amosu said while commiserating with the family of the deceased.

Several people including journalists and public officials in Ogun have condoled with the family of the deceased.
