Olowu Of Kuta, Buratai Receive Awards For  Excellence

 

 

 

 

It was glitz and glamour as the SKehinde-led led City People magazine celebrated his Eminence, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Adekunle Oyelude Makama,  the Olowu Of Kuta and disitinguished former Chief of Army Staff cum politician, Ambassador Tukur Buratai (CFR)  at the 2022 City People Awards For Excellence in commemoration of their 25 years of rewarding outstanding Nigerfians in all sectors.

 

 

 

 

The Olowu of Kutra and Buratai were among the top notch Nigerians which included Ashiwaju Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu by the media organisation, The First class monarch from Osun state who is also the permanent chairman of the Supreme Royal council of all Owu Obas and chiefs in Yoruba land was honored as the Royal father of the year 2022. This is not unconnected to the fact that he is a barrier breaker, line crosser who has evidently accelerated the pace of development of the Owu region . Beyond that he has become an instrument of peaceful coexistence among Yoruba towns and communities in one hand, and the yoruba and the Arewa based on the other hand.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ambassador Tukur Buratai on the other hand was honored with awardsbof Excellence too for his unprecedented achievements in public services. Buratai who was recently decorated with the commander of the Order of the Federal Republic  (CFR) for his numerous achievements as COAS and the politics was ably represented by his son.
