Osoba Lauds Ogunsola’s developmental strides
A former Governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba has praised the Executive Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government, Hon. Amb. Ogunsola Adeshina Lanre for developmental strides of his administration.
He expressed satisfaction particularly with the legacy projects embarked upon by the council chairman.
Osoba made the commendation when he received the council chairman and his entourage in his house in Abeokuta on monday.
The ex governor submitted that Ogunsola has made him so proud in his committed efforts in developing Obafemi Owode Local Government.
The APC National Leader maintained that he is impressed by the current level of the development in the rural area of the local government, saying that rural development is very sacrosanct.
Osoba said ” I want to commend you for what you have been doing in Obafemi Owode Local Government. I am happy about what have been seeing, I pray God continue to give you strength to continue in your good works in Obafemi Owode LG. I always appreciate rural development because it is very sacrosanct and that was what i embarked upon during my tenure as the Governor of the State. I want to urge you not to relent, continue in your good works”. He concluded.
The former governor therefore proposed a police station in Kobape town, saying that it will ensure security of lives and properties.
Meanwhile the council chairman, Amb. Ogunsola in his remarks expressed his appreciation to the former governor for his support and encouragement to his administration, its policies and programes, assuring him that his support would not be taken for granted.
He also disclosed that his administration has embarked on second phase grading of rural and urban roads, construction of three block of class rooms at Ebute Ibafo, sinking of borholes in villages and electrification project in rural area, saying that all the projects will have been ready for commissioning by May this year.
Other dignitaries present were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Olusesi Babatunde, the Secretary, Chief Kayode Dipeolu, the Supervisor for Special Duties, Hon. Taiwo Saula and Hon. Idowu Makinde, the SA on protocol.
