Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, Oyo State Police Command headquarter, have re-arrested the notorious rapist and killer who have been terrorizing the state.
The suspect , Sunday Shodipe who escaped from police custody on 11th August, 2020, was re-arrested today, Sunday, 23rd August, 2020 by Police operatives at the Bodija area of Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital.
It would be recalled that the prime suspect have been alleged to have involved in a multiple killings of innocent citizens at Akinyele Local Government Area, Moniya, in the state metropolis.
Narrating how he escaped from Mokola Police Station, on Tuesday the suspect said the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) who was recently deployed to the station ordered one of the officer to allow him to take his bath.
He said the officer had warned him not to make any attempt to escape while taking his bath, adding that he was not even thinking of running away at that point.
“Immediately i finish taking my bath i discover the officer was discussing with someone,i watch closely nobody was looking at my direction I decide to run away since this is a another opportunity for me to escaped”.
I climb the borehole and jumped to the next company in fact the occupant saw me as I was escaping but no one raises alarm.
The alleged suspect had killed no few than eight women at Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State after raping them.
