Oyo shut down as Gani Adams gets installed as Aare Ona Kankaafo

It was a massive crowd and shout of joy as Otunba Gani adams, on 12th of January, 2018, was installed as the new Aare Onakakanfoo in the ancient city of Oyo, merriment and happiness were of full abundance in the state.

It would be recalled that in 2017, Otunba Gani Adams was announced to be the next Aare Ona Kankaafo after the death of MKO Abiola many years back. This sprung up different controversies, on the basis of the fact that Gani Adams isn’t qualified but as things are now, he has been fully accepted.

In an interview,  the residents of Oyo kingdom confessed that the installation ceremony boost their business activities, stating that hotel were all occupied with visitors while other businesses were all alive to satisfy those who rally support for the new Aare Ona Kankaafo of yoruba land.
