PaddyPaddybet To Empower 100 Young Entrepreneurs At Inaugural Summit

 

Paddypaddybet, one of Nigeria’s fast-rising sport-betting companies, is set to host its inaugural Youth Empowerment Summit that aims to cater to 100 young entrepreneurs with great business ideas.

The Summit, holding at Jogor Events Centre on December 12, is directed towards spurring the youths into action to take charge of their entrepreneurial drive.

Speaking at a press conference at the company’s headquarter in Lagos, Mr. Issa Ahmed, the Company’s media manager, said the summit aims at formulating a roadmap that seeks to foster youth employability and entrepreneurship in Nigeria.

His words; “the Nigerian youth are facing challenges. Finding decent employment and climbing out of poverty are becoming so difficult. With more than 65 per cent of the population being under the age of 35, securing employability and self-employment for young people require innovative approaches. We are at Paddypaddybet wants to fight poverty and the numerous associated challenges in the country with necessary empowerment tools.”

According to Ahmed, the Summit is expected to witness the biggest gathering of youths ever in the ancient city of Ibadan and will also be attended by many successful young business entrepreneurs and Paddypaddybet ambassadors.

The 100 beneficiaries, who will be picked among the attendees at the summit, will be empowered by Paddypaddybet with N50,000 each, amounting to a total of N5million to fuel their business ideas.

On how to qualify to participate in the empowerment; Ahmed said  interested person at the empowerment summit must be between the ages of 18-35, and would need to register online (http://registration.paddypaddyblog.com/) to attend the Paddypaddybet Inaugural Youth Empowerment Summit and follow the instructions with term and condition.
