It was another honour well deserved for the founder, Paseda Legacy Foundation, Otunba Olatunde Rotimi Paseda as he was bestowed with Ogun Best Industrialist in Europe at 100 Most Influential Ogun indigenes Award held at Obasanjo presidential library, Abeokuta, Ogun state.
Paseda who was represented by his Media Assistant, Michael-Azeez Ogunsiji commended the organizers of the award for the initiative to honour indigenes of the state while alive, saying such lofty idea would spring development to the state.
He said, such initiative would trigger many of the awardees who have chains of businesses across the country and diaspora to come back home and contribute their quota to the progress of the state.
While reiterating his commitment to youth development and initiative, Otunba Paseda stressed that he would continue to hold the youths with high esteem, assuring them that he would continue to feature youths in his programme aimed at developing the state.
“I want to commend the organizers of this epoch-making event and with all sense of modesty I want to say that, the youths are beginning to exhibit high level of maturity and claim their rightful positions.
“No doubt, this singular gesture would definitely drive many of us both home and in diaspora to invest and contribute our quota to the development of the state. The initiative to honour the living icons of the state demonstrated your show of concern for hardwork and philanthropic.
“I want to assure you that I will continue to hold the youths from high esteem and incorporate you in any of my programmes aimed at bettering the lives of the downtrodden as exemplified by Chief Obafemi Awolowo.”
Meanwhile, the organizer of the award, HEX COMMUNICATION said Otunba Paseda was chosen as one of the 100 Most Influential Ogun Indigenes Still Living in recognition of his outstanding leadership and contributions towards the upliftment of mankind and as an inspiration to the youths.
Other awardees include former president Olusegun Obasanjo, chief Segun Osoba, former world chief judge Prince Bola Ajibola, Ogun state governor , Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Prof. BIYI Afonja, former female Olympic gold medalist, Mrs Falilat Ogunkoya, former green eagle captain, chief When Odegbami and host of others.
