Pastor Adeboye’s Family Mourns

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, Wife and Members of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God are mourning.

And this is not unconnected to the fact that Dare, one of the biological sons of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, is dead.

He was 42.

Dare who is the third son of Adeboye, died in his sleep on Wednesday, May 5th, 2021 in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where he was based with his family.

Confirming the death, the spokesman of the church, Pastor  Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi said “Dare Adeboye died in his sleep.

He however added that details and circumstances surrounding the unexpected death are still sketchy.

He promises to make an official statement before the end of Thursday.

The deceased, who was assistant Pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35, had ministered the previous day and had returned home to sleep from which he passed on.

Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi, the Head of Media and Public Relations, RCCG, Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi, confirmed the death of Dare to Punch newspapers.

Reportedly, he said, “It is true. The incident happened in Eket where he was based. I don’t have the details for now. Maybe before the end of today, we will issue a statement. The younger Adeboye was neither sick nor on medication when the tragic incident happened.”

When Dare marked his 42nd birthday in June last year (he would have been 43 in June 2021), Pastor Adeboye described him as his first miracle child. He wrote on his Facebook page then:

“Our first miracle child. We pray that God will keep his miraculous working power in your life and all those who need a miracle today, will use you as a point of contact for their own in JESUS name. (Amen) love from Dad, Mom, and the whole Adeboye dynasty.”
