Pastor E.A. Adeboye, Ooni Of Ife Visit President Buhari

The Presidential Villa was in frenzy on Tuesday, February 16, as the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor E.A. Adeboye and the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari.

The surprise visit came barely 24 hours after the massive sack of 26 Director-Generals and Heads of Parastatal by the President on Monday, February 15.

According to reports, Adeboye who spent about 15 minutes with the President before leaving the Villa, was led to the President’s office by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

When journalists approached him to know the purpose of his visit, he raised up his hand and said, “God bless you.”

Most of the journalists responded with a resounding, “Amen.”

Few minutes after he departed, the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, also arrived at the State House to see the President.

Ogunwusi arrived at about 1:10pm.
