ABEOKUTA — A House of Representatives aspirant under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun state, Chief Toyin Amuzu has assured his constituents of quality representation that would birth the promotion of human capacity through quality education and sustainable development.
Chief Toyin Amuzu, who is aspiring to represent the people of Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, while speaking with Amebo Newsaper NG said: “our heritage as a people is farming and if we truly must develop, we need to set personal interests and political affiliations aside, invest our time and resource in the collective development of our dignity as a people through subsistent farming.
“If elected as a member of the House of Reps in 2019, I will be committed to pursuing the growth and development of not only Abeokuta South Constituency, but also the entire Ogun state.
He said: “I represent a fresh breath in the most educated and premier federal constituency in Ogun state, Abeokuta South
“I have always been involved in community development and social works in the last 10 years across Ogun state.
“I believe the passion for people will allow me make trendemous impact that will lead to empowerment and transformation of lives.”
Amuzu, said he has all it takes to move Abeokuta South federal constituency to the higher level in just four years.
Speaking further with our reporter, he said his quest to represent his people was motivated by the desire to ensure that his “constituency is reckoned with as the gateway state through massive empowerment for his people ” by engaging in robust legislative activities on issues and matters of health, education, massive employment and infrastructure among others, which are people-oriented and add value to the ordinary.”
He said he would attract the establishment of agro-allied industries to engage the unemployed youths in the constitu-ency and champion the vanguard of empowering rural women to embrace the need for proper and comprehensive education of our children.”
