PDP chieftain, Prince Dr. Adedipe Dauda Ewenla frowns at Army, NSCDC, Others over rejection of ‘Amotekun’
Alimosho P D P Chieftain, Prince Dr Adedipe Dauda Ewenla has condemned the reaction of Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Army and Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp NSCDC over the southwest security commission names ‘Amotekun’.
The joint task force was proffered by Governor of Osun, Ogun, Lagos, Ekiti, Oyo and Ekiti in a move to combat crime and criminality locally by the use of Oodua People’s Congress/Hunters and others Local security in southwest.
The PDP chieftain in Alimosho stated that the Police, Army and NSCDC were doing nothing over the years when kidnappers almost took over the boundaries of the southwestern states but here to reject a solution to end the crimes.
He said the Inspector General of police once called on Aare Iba Gani Ige Adams, Aare Ona Kankaafo of Yorubaland to seek for the support of Oodua People’s Congress OPC to combat the crime locally and it worked out.
Hon Prince Dr Adedipe urged the Inpector General of Police and other security chiefs not to listen to the politicians who are always against the move because Aare is not a politician they’re doing that just for their personal interest. but allow the smooth partnership towards a peaceful southwest from the hands of the kidnappers and bandits.
