PMIS Managing Director, Peter Igbinosun urges Government to invest in agriculture to battle unemployment

The Managing director P-MAN integrated Service Nig. Limited (PMIS)), Mr. Peter lgbinosun, has called on the federal, states and local government to invest in agriculture to enable teeming unemployed youths get employ.

He made the assertion in an exclusive interview with Sahara Weekly after the commissioning of the P-MAN integrated Services Nigeria Limited office in Benin City.

The agricultural maestro who is also a grassroots farmer strongly cautioned government in all different levels to maintain proper keeping of records related to agric sector in other to make the

industry sustainable and feed the nation, as it was during 1970s.

Peter lgbinosun who is the retired out-Grower Manager, Rubber Estate Nigeria Limited, also appealed to the federal, states and localgovernment to create a conducive environment for agriculture to strive in the country.

P-MAN Integrated Service limited equally called for the funding of various of research institutes in Nigeria, that federal government should have a data-base of all farmers, in Nigeria and suggested that there is need for the nation to advance from peasant farming to commercial farming with model technology to create change into the agri sector, and to make it attractive to people particularly, for the youths.

According to him, his aim is to train young people on the right information needed in producing agricultural products. Igbinosun averred that the vision of the company is to be a dependable leader in the Agro-service delivery to farmers, and Agro-Businesses, in Nigeria and to be a front line leader in civil and human capacity development in West Africa.

The P-MAN MD/CEO added that they intend to also provide good quality services that will be profitable to investors\customers ensuring good returns, on investment, contribute to social development of the community where she is integrated to the society, and to satisfy her

customers’ requirements in terms of prices, delays and services.

He advised the government at all levels to make lands, seeds, fertilizers, and other agricultural incentives and funds to the real farmers to make them have more passion and zeal for agriculture.

In an excitement, the Odionwere of Ere Street, Off Upper Siluko Road, Egor, Benin city, Pa. lsaac Imasuen, thanked the MD and the management of P-MAN integrated Service Nigeria Limited for sitting the firm in his community, saying it will create jobs for the youths and many

others.

Odionwere lmasuen said, “He is happy because the establishment of the company in his locality would help to give youths in the area jobs, and bring model development to the community”.

The man of God to the management of the firm to build the their business in the foundation of the word of God. Rev. Wale cited (Psalms 127:1), to buttressed his sermon prayer. The event also witnessed other men of God who came to graced the occasion.
