The attack on Lucas Ologbenla’s family in Nigeria has left many questions unanswered to the public. Questions like; who are those after my brother’s life? Why did they want him dead? Is Lucas Ologbenla truly back in Nigeria? What do they want from him?

 

 

 

 

Lucas Ologbenla is a well-known and famous promoter in the United States of America. He presently has about 1 million followers on Instagram. He is also the most successful business man in his family of 4. He had hosted so many top events and concerts in the past years featuring A-list celebrity artistes from Africa. He is fondly called “the king of nightlife in Philadelphia PA”. Lucas is very generous, friendly, accommodative, hardworking and well educated. He had his academic pursuit up to Master’s degree in Political science.

 

 

 

 

 

On the early hours of 28th March, 2023 Lucas’s family house in Nigeria was under serious attack by men of the underworlds. They shot sporadically and destroyed properties met within the premises, creating fear and trepidation before leaving.

 

 

 

 

Family members of popular US-Showbiz promoter, Lucas Ologbenla in Nigeria have raised serious concerns about the whereabouts of their son after the horrific attack on the family residence by men of the underworld in the early hours of 28th March, 2023.

With the mode of operation of these messengers of death, it was obvious they did not only come to steal but ready to take the life of Lucas as they expressly stated that in their mission.

Anthony Ologbenla, ther elder brother of Lucas took time to narrate what happened on the faithful day. He said:

“On the 27th of March 2023, around 3am, approximately 12 groups of men came over to our family residence in Lagos, Nigeria in search of my younger brother, Lucas Ologbenla who was only 40yrs old. They Knocked the doors and windows of where Lucas Ologbenla’s mother, brother and sisters lived with his elder brother; Anthony Ologbenla and children. These men started shooting and threatening us to open the door, saying ‘we know Lucas Ologbenla is inside this house and he has returned to Nigeria’. They claimed to be so sure since they haven’t seen on his Instagram page since January 2023 and that they were very sure that he was inside hiding from the public.

“Even though we were under serious panic but remained resolute not to open the doors despite the continuous threats and gun shots. As they didn’t succeed in gaining entrance, they resulted in destroying some of the expensive furniture and decorations in the compound of the house. They even broke some empty bottles of beer they found in the backyard of the building before they left.

“They stayed on the street for over 30 minutes looking for a way to break into the house, according to eyewitnesses. The other landlords in the neighbourhood had to start blowing their whistles loudly to scare them away and to call for the attention of the local security men in the area for help. After a while of unsuccessful attack, they returned to their cars and drove off. But they threatened and promised to be back for my brother, Lucas Ologbenla a.k.a Dr. Lucas. So, we quickly moved out of the house for safety of our lives in an undisclosed location.
