President Buhari commends Captain Hosa Okunbo bold move in agro allied industry.

President Muhammadu Buhari was in benin on a courtesy visits to HRM OmoN’oba N’edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare 2, Oba of Benin where he told the revered monarch about what his administration has done in the area of Economy, security and fight against corruption. He also singlehandedly pointed out Captain Hosa Okunbor exploits in Agro allied industry.

 

 

President Buhari commends his sacrifice, the risk he took and even sold one of his private jets to build the biggest and successful greenhouse farm in Nigeria.

 

President says “I really commends your efforts and sacrifice, you took a lot of risk including selling your jet to pioneer greenhouse farm in Nigeria” President muhammadu Buhari also promised to visit the farm one day.

 

 
This does not removed the fact that Captain (Dr.) Idahosa Wells Okunbor is a model and a case study of success, who in his life and business experience has transversed the Air, the Sea and the Land.

 

 

 

At 21 he became a pilot and at 30, he has logged in 7,500 hours of flying time as a commercial jet plane pilot. He is the chairman of Ocean Marine Solutions Ltd which pioneers Marine Security in Nigeria and west coast line which has reduced pipelines attacks and vandalism drastically. He says that “our integrity and capacity has been our core values”. At OMS, We boast ourselves of the best equipment and facility, highly trained personnel with community engagement which is the key to our service delivery for years. He is also the chairman of Feva tv Canada and The First Seven star hotel in Nigeria “The Wells Charlton Hotel and Luxury Apartment” in Abuja. His immense contributions in oil and gas sectors of the economy over the past 30years is second to none with well over fifty vessels that he lends to Nigerian National Petroleum corporation NNPC in bringing refined petroleum products into the country saving the federal government over $300,000,000 a year.
