Nollywood star and super diva, Monalisa Chinda – Coker, has said she did all she could to run away from fame in other to live a very quiet family life, marry and have kids but, ended up where she is today.
Monalisa made this statement while lecturing on a topic tagged ‘Acting and Fame… The Line In-between’ at the Master Class Series of Benin Film Academy, Edo State campus on Thursday August 9, 2018.
She said; “I didn’t go chasing after fame, I just got trained and wanted to leave a very quiet family life, marry, have kids and be content; but fame chased after me.I ran, ran and ran but; ended up where I am today.
So when you just set out pursuing fame without understanding. Then there is a problem “.
The Master class series which is part of Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen’s various philanthropic works to give back to the society that has greatly supported his career for over two decades started at 11 am at BFA school premises, 69, Airport road, opposite Glass House, Benin city, Edo State.
Benin Film Academy (BFA) which is now regarded as the gateway to the heart of Nollywood since her inception in 2017, has been a frontrunner in blockbuster movie training as graduates of the school has flooded Nollywood, Ghollywood and others with their arts and skills.
Mrs Monalisa Chinda- Coker is now one of the numerous first class actors that has graced the school to deliver lectures.
