Producer of fake alcohol arrested in Delta

The Delta State Police Command has arrested a 39-year-old man, Ugochukwu Alozie, who operates a shop where fake hot drinks including Red Label are produced in the Warri Area of the state.

The suspect who has been operating the shops for years was learnt to have been responsible for alcohol in circulation within Warri and other parts of the state as he was caught by the Divisional Police Officer,‘B Division’, Mr Anietie Eyoh, a Chief Superintendent of Police.

Mr Zanna Ibrahim, state commissioner of police, while briefing journalists on the arrest, said the suspect was caught red handed with bottles, cartons and 25 litres of Ethanol used in producing the illegal alcohol.

Our correspondent had on Monday obtained a video of the arrest where he was seen producing the adulterated drinks and also confessed in the said video he had been doing the business for years
