PUBLIC NOTICE: NOTICE OF COURT JUDGEMENTS ON OWNERSHIP OF THE WHOLE LAND SITUATE AT AND KNOWN AS BECKLEY ESTATE, U-TURN, ABULE-EGBA, OJOKORO, LAGOS STATE

 

THE JOSEPH OGUNMOLA BECKLEY OF OJOKORO, LAGOS STATE WISHES TO NOTIFY THE GENERAL PUBLIC AS FOLLOWS:
a). THAT by the judgement of Court in Suit No. ID/871M/2001- Between J. O Beckley family of Ojokoro, Lagos State v. Akeja Oniyanru Chieftaincy family, the J. O Beckley family and its privies/Assigns are the Owners of the whole land situate at and known as Beckley Estate, U-Turn, Abule-Egba, Ojokoro, Lagos State, and that the Honorable Court specifically granted an Order of perpetual Injunction restraining the Defendants and their agents/privies/Assigns from entering upon/further trespassing upon the land situate at and known as Beckley Estate, U-Turn, Abule-Egba, Ojokoro, Lagos State.
b). THAT the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, in Appeal No.CA/L/60/2017 Between Akeja Oniyanru Chieftaincy family v. J. O Beckley family by its Judgement delivered on 25 August, 2023, affirmed the above judgement and effectively declared J. O Beckley family and its privies as Owners of the whole land situate at and known as Beckley Estate, U-Turn, Abule-Egba, Ojokoro, Lagos State and perpetually restrained the Akeja Oniyanru Chieftaincy family and its privies, Agents and Assigns from entering upon or further trespassing upon the said land.
c). THAT by the above mentioned judgements, Mr. Babatunde Ige, Ibile Holdings and all those who derived their titles/rights/licenses from Akeja Oniyanru Chieftaincy family or through its privies in respect of any portion of the land in Beckley Estate are effectively restrained from entering upon the said land at Beckley Estate, U-Turn, Abule-Egba, Ojokoro, Lagos State.
d). THAT members of the general public are by this publication advised to take note of this development and not allow themselves to be misled or to be used to violate or circumvent the subsisting judgements of Court.
