REAL REASONS OBA OLUGBON TRAVELED TO USA

One of the paramount rulers in Oyo state, the Olugbon of Orile-Igbon,
Oba Francis Olushola Alao, has explained why he always visit United
States of American every four months since he ascended the throne.
Oba Alao said he always visit the United States to meet with the sons
and daughters of Orile-Igbon in disapora so as to deliberate on how to
turn the town to industrial hub of Oyo state.
The monarch who double as the vice-chairman of Oyo traditional council
spoke with newsmen shortly after coming back from the United States.
The First Class monarch  added that his visitation to US is to appeal
to the descendants of Orile-Igbon in diaspora to come back and invest
heavily in agriculture and other sector in the community.
He further said there would be consideration for any of his sons or
daughters that want to invest in any businesses within the community.
Oba also disclosed that the community would give nothing less than 10
acres of land for any of its descendants who plan to invest in
agriculture in the community.
He said, “I have a reasons for visiting United States every four
months since I ascended the throne.
“Am not just going there to play, but to speak with my people in
diaspora and let them know the benefits of coming back home to invest.
“Descendants of Orile-Igbon occupied the leading positions abroad,
just like our son is the Best Doctor in America. So, you can imagine
if anyone of them come to use their skills here in Nigeria.
“I have been to many states in America and all I have been telling
them is to come back home and invest heavily here in the Orile-Igbon,
so that we can become the industrial hub of Oyo state.
“I have told them and also promised them 10 acres of land for free for
any one of them that want to invest in Agriculture here in
Orile-Igbon.
“We are also providing enabling environment for the people who want to
invest in any sector within the community
“The land map of Orile-Igbon is one of the best in Africa and  we have
the best cashew plantation in the whole Nigeria. I want my subjects to
utilize these opportunities to develop the town”
Meanwhile, the monarch visited no fewer than nine states in United
States of America and had meeting with about 70 descendents of
Orile-Igbon living in diaspora.
