Re:Kendoo and Mc-Oluomo Unleashed Attack on Elder Wale Ariyibi and Osha at APC State Congress.

Our attention has been drawn to the malicious video being circulated on social media with the sole aim of maligning the executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, and the chairman of the Lagos State NURTW, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya Mc-Oluomo.

In the video, the former state Audit, Pastor Wale Ariyibi, was seeing playing out a written script with a tore clothes. He claimed that he was punched by the executive chairman. In the same vein, Hon. Akiode (Osha) was equally seen supporting what pastor Ariyibi said that he was also beaten blue black.

Naturally, we would have ignore their antics but for the sake of setting the record straight, we have obliged them a response.

It should be clearly stated that the chairman NEVER beats nor ordered his aides to beat up anybody at the venue of the Congress and the same goes to the NURTW boss. Throughout the duration of the event, the chairman was sitted at the place designated for other local government chairmen and the only time he got up was when he went to pay homage to the governor, after which he returned to his sit.

Alh. Musiliu Akinsanya (Mc-Oluomo) was also sitted at the stage-box with the governor throughout the duration of the program. One now wonders when and where these people gave the directives that Pastor Ariyibi and Hon. Akiode should be beaten.

Before, during and after the just concluded local government elections, the chairman and Alh. Akinsanya, had always called for peace and championed reconciliatory moves within the local government area aimed at promoting peace within the council. It was their efforts, with some other stakeholders, that led to the peaceful conduct and outcome of the elections. Oshodi LG election was adjudged peaceful by residents and external observers.

A critical look at the shabby video would show a stage-managed script. We are however highly disappointed in Pastor Ariyibi that he would allowed himself to be puppet in the hands of some unscrupulous personalities that have nothing good to offer Oshodi. He claimed to be a pastor and yet he could tear his cloth and claimed it was tore when he was malhandled. Since he was not returned as state exco, he has decided to seek unwarranted sympathy so that he can be given another appointment. Pastor Ariyibi should be ashamed of him for this shameful act.

Hon. Akiode equally claimed he was beaten mercilessly and wounded. Viewers can attest that if truly he was beaten, would he have the energy to go to the podium for recognition when was he called upon? or would he have the energy to stage-managed a video afterwards? Did Hon. Akinode in the video appeared like someone that was beaten or wounded? He said he struggled with his cap, what a joke! The good people Oshodi however know them for who they are and our people would not be surprised if by tomorrow, a bandage suddenly appear on their hands or legs. We would want to know the people that witnessed the purported beating.

We however know that this charade is from the immediate past chairman, Hon. Muse Ariyo. All his attempts to discredit the current administration has been uncovered and at the appropriate time, they will be dealt with.

It is obvious that the soaring profile of Kendoo is what is giving them sleepless nights. Kendoo is however unperturbed and will not be distracted from his desire to transform Oshodi. Already, what someone could not achieve in 7years is what Kendoo is working towards achieving in just 100days. The hatred and attempt to discredit and clog the wheel of the current administration are well known and will be resisted.

We urge our esteemed supporters to discard their stage-managed video and see them for who and what they are: charlatans, liers, deceivers and political apologists. Kendoo and Alh. Akinsanya are core party men that are loyal to the directives of the party. We also want to implore our people to maintain peace because there can not be development where there is no peace. It is in a peaceful atmosphere that Kendoo will be able to continue his developmental strides. This administration also assures the safety of lives and properties of both residents and business owners.

Signed:

Media Office of the Executive Chairman.
