The Lagos state Arewa chairman, Alhaji Monmondu Dandamoh says only religious tolerance will bring a lasting solution to the Boko Haram crisis in the country.
Monmondu who said this in Lagos, called on religious bodies to live as one and fight the Book Haram as one indivisible nation.
He noted that insecurity has became a major problem in the country, especially in northern part of the nation, therefore, Nigerian should join in the quest for a lasting solution irrespective of their religion.
“Look at southern part of Kaduna State that keeps witnessing continuous killings by bandits almost on a weekly basis and that has affected the development of the state.
“People living in that state are afraid and cannot sleep with their two eyes closed.” We want all religious bodies to come together.
Monmondu added that he will continue to assist humanity with the little basic necessities of life as long as he still breaths.
“I didn’t have the opportunity to be educated but I know I have impacted positively on the some residents of this Mile 12.
” I urge everyone to live in peace because we are one Nigeria and nobody will be happy when there is war or crisis in our country.
He also appreciated Nigerians, especially Lagosians who are observing the order of the federal government of keeping social distancing to curb the Covid-19 pandemic.
