SAD : Pastor’s wife, three children, ,mother-in-law die in fire outbreak

The wife of the Seventh Day Adventist District pastor, his three children including their 2-month old baby and his mother-in-law, died in a fire disaster that occured at their home in Dansoman, Accra, Ghana yesterday August 19th.

According to reports, the fire broke out around 5am in the six-bedroom storey building, near the Wesley Grammar school in Dansoman. Efforts to rescue the victims proved abortive as the burglary proof in the house prevented residents from rescuing the victims.

The Pastor, Ato Kessie, was away when the inferno happened. He had reportedly gone for a camp meeting, leaving the wife and their two children together with a third child who had come to the house with the pastor’s mother-in-law.
