Sahara weekly’s Counsel welcomes baby boy

Our general counsel, Olumide Akindiya welcomes a baby boy with a poem titled: Poetic Letter to my Son. He welcomes him with prophetic and philosophising letter in poetic way. To recount life event with expectation that he should be ready to face to realise his purpose in life with parental support. In showing his creativity apart from being a practising lawyer, writer and speaker, he expresses his happiness about this fruit of marriage through poem – a narrative poem. Congrats to the family of Barr. and Mrs. Akindiya! Poetic

Letter to my Son Dear Son, the first fruit from my sweetest wife.

Joyous to overhear the cacophony of your cry. Meeting your attractiveness never surprised me

For your mom is an origin of beauty.

Not jealous, you denied my skin colour

Because you embraced my brain – My eyes visualised that.

Son, life is a mystery radiating with Avalanches of challenge, problem and lost of purpose,

But you are destined to be great And you shall be great.

Your foes shall lead to your success Like a biblical Joshua.

Sure, you will have a first class brain; For my hands will build a first class library for you.

My God shall back you with rapper of opportunities and grace.

It shall be a rain of success showering…

Your surname shall make history Creating brand that seems your Feet too heavy to wear, but You are a re-writer of my history.

I guess, growing up to know your father As a practising lawyer, notary public, legal writer,

Speaker writing his name in golden pen Should steal your mind to accept me As your mentor – a brand to re-brand.

You are my senior so never will be A junior to me or immortal body.

You need God than treasure; Your trust in the midst of humans.

Just know that, heart loves you, But will never deny my first love.

Yours truly, Olumide Adegboyega Akindiya.
