“Brother Bernard” tells the poignant story of a kind-hearted man who dedicates his life to helping others, even when he struggles to provide for himself. As a philanthropist, Brother Bernard makes numerous sacrifices long before achieving wealth. He brings his brother into his home, sponsoring him and eventually encouraging him to marry, covering all the expenses. However, Bernard’s own romantic life is fraught with betrayal; he marries a woman who deceives him when he is poor, and the cycle repeats when he becomes rich.
