Shalina Ends 2022/2023 Financial Year With Achievements, Growth, Expansion

 

In a clear pursuit of its vision to be a sub-Saharan African Health Champion with brands that people love and trust, and to reach one billion dollar sales by  the year 2030; a leading  multi-national pharmaceutical company, Shalina Healthcare in a two-day event in Lagos last week,  gave success stories of its achievements, growth and expansion as she wrapped up the 2022/23 financial year in a very remarkable way.

Relaying the success stories at the company’s National Conference, tagged; “Star Night- Award and Gala Night for Excellence,  celebrating outstanding achievements”, the Chief Commercial Officer (Pharma) West Africa, of the company, Arun Raj declared that the company has gone beyond expectations to increase its business activities in coverage,  visibility,  improved products,  customers and staff appreciation among others. According to him; “In Nigeria as its major market in Africa,  today,  a good number of the company’s brands and products are visible all over the country.  And has exceeded expectations in camaraderie, respect, credibility, pride, quality and so on. It is also good to note that,  in 2022/23 year, our Corporate Market Initiatives have made us to reach out to our customers in unique and special ways. Some of our activities – national  conferences participation, Shalina Youth Talents Award (SYTA), Rising Stars Award, My Voice My Identity among others have created unprecedented place for us in the market. ”

Earlier, while welcoming everyone to the  event , the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)  of the company,  Shalina Clifford appreciated the staff for the business growth of the company saying “against all odds the company made a lot of remarkable progress in the year which accumulated into a the success stories we are celebrating today. One of the success stories is that the company has become truly Nigerian brand with its first mega factory in Africa being completed in Nigeria and in the upcoming new financial year,  the company will be exporting Shalina products manufactured in Nigeria to the outside world.”

 

One of the highlights of the event was award ceremony which featured presentations of awards to a good number of distinguished members of staff in different categories and special recognition awards to the brand ambassadors of the company for their significant contributions to the growth of the company and her brands.  The ambassadors include; popular skit makers,  Samuel Animashaun Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggy,  Emmanuela Samuel and Mark Angel,  award winning dancer,  Kafayat Oluwatosin Shafau aka Kaffy as well as musician and song writer, Zadok Aghalengbe

 

Meanwhile, on the previous day of the two-day event,  during a special meeting of the company with its business partners, the company while congratulating the business partners on their outstanding performance in the outgone year,  reiterated its commitment to the provision of affordable quality healthcare delivery in Nigeria. The company’s Chief Executive Officer in her opening remark at the event said; “Thank you for the whole-hearted support,  which made us to stand together and grow against all odds.  We sincerely appreciate you as you join today in celebration of our success stories and plan for a greater year ahead. ”
