Shun violence even while fighting for your rights – Baale of Itedo urges youths

The Baale of Itedo community, His Royal Highness, Chief Ogunyemi John has urged the youths to shun violence even while fighting for their rights.

Baale give the advice in his office while speaking on the recent incident of ENDSARS that caused serious havocs within the state.

He urged them to calm down and forget every agitation to avoid further chaos in the country.

” I supported the youths when the Endsars Protests started because it was one of the ways they can exercise their rights but the violence that followed is condemnable’’.

He said all sectors in government are corrupt and not only the Special Anti-Robbery Squad unit (SARS).

“SARS were working hard to ensure they secure the nation although we know there are some bad ones in its unit.

Ogunyemi reiterated that government setting up judicial panel is not the right step to take.

“We should tell ourselves the truth and engage the youths across the states through representatives to look into their demands to know how it can be addressed accordingly.

He said that with the destructions going on Nigeria cannot hope for sustainable development again.

“I will advise those in the authority to do the needful by addressing the demands of the youths to make Nigeria great to attract investors,’’ he added.

He commended the youths for their boldness saying it has proved that they are the future leaders, urging them to be good ambassadors of Nigerian
