Singer, Gmoney Imadiyi Drops Debut Album – Check Out The Amazing Track List

 

 

Milan-based Nigerian Afropop artiste, George Imadiyi aka Gmoney said he is unveiling his new on July 22, 2022 in the Italian city.

In a statement, the Edo State-born musician explained that he had released a number of albums and singles.

Signed under Keymaker record label in Milan, Imadiyi who was born in Benin City, the Edo State capital, has won several laurels in Europe, including the African Diaspora Merits Award (ADMA) 2018 as Best Indigenous Artist of the Year, EDISA Award as Best Afrobeat Artist of the Year 2019 and Edo Cultural Best Lyrical Artist of the Year 2020 in Roma Lazio, Italy.

He said: “I am inspired by love and happiness. Tupac Shakur, Fela Kuti and Talent of Benin ( the Idemudias) are my role models.”

To succed in the industry, Gmoney counselled: “Just be your self and believe anything is possible. And there is always a space for everyone.”

He charged upcoming artists to be focused.

In a statement obtained by Waplodge, Gmoney Imadiyi, advised his fans and upcoming Artists to believe in themselves, noting that the world is big for everyone to excel.

A budding singer, George Imadiyi, aka Gmoney, has said he gets inspiration for his songs from two deceased legendary singers, Tupac Shakur and Fela Kuti.

In a statement sent to Prince Fredoo Perry,  Gmoney said, “I am inspired by love, happiness, Tupac Shakur, Fela Kuti and Talent of Benin-the Idemudias. They are my role models.”

The afrobeat/afropop singer also stated that he will be launching his new album titled ‘Royalty’ in Milan, Italy, later in the month. Signed under Keymaker Record Label in Milan, the Edo State-born singer has won some awards in Europe including ‘Best Indigenous Artiste of the Year’ at the African Diaspora Merits Award in 2018; ‘Best Afrobeat Song of the Year’ at the Edisa Award in 2019; and ‘Edo Cultural Best Lyrical Artiste of the Year’ in 2020 in Italy.

 

On how he handles challenges, the father of three said, “I don’t really believe in challenges because whatever I have been through is a stepping stone to where I am now and where I am still going.

“I see challenges as opportunities to move ahead. For now, I have not had my greatest moment yet. I believe I have a bright future ahead of me.”

Advising up-and-coming artistes who yearn for success, Gmoney said, “Always be yourself and believe that anything is possible. There is a space for everyone to shine.”
