South South Socio-Cultural Organization has declared readiness to fight for the interest of the future of the people of the Zone.

The President General, Dr Annibest James recently in Lagos said the group had adopted to address any hidden agenda and the challenges facing the zone.

He said during the official opening of South South Socio Cultural Organization National secretariat at 1 Salamotu street llasa- lsolo, Lagos.

He said losing South South is not like losing an election so the group will speak for the generations of the South south to come.

“I am here to speak on behalf of the starving South south people around the world whose cries are unheard.

I am here to speak for the countless south South people dying across the nation, because they have no where left to go.

“In my life, l have dreamt of seeing the great leaders full of ideas, love and affection for his people, but now I wonder if they will ever exist in this generation”.

James described the present situation as worrisome stressing that their leaders do not care, acting as if all is well with the populace meanwhile things are getting worse on daily basis.

“If i may ask what is the solution to what is happening presently, our government is not finding solution on how this would be solved; in 80s and 90s we had the best”.

According to him, ‘ for four years now, many family are unable to afford three square meals a day in Nigeria, a lot of people are dying of hunger, poverty and insecurity all over the country.

“When you go around ask average Nigerian on the streets about the current situation and you will be surprised at the answer you will get.

“I wish l am a rich man, I would have given support to the less privileged, enough of suffering and smiling.

“Why is it that our leaders who have everything are so greedy? they teach us not to fight with others, to share with others, to work things out, to Clean up our mess, to share, not to be greedy.

“Then why do our leaders go out and do the opposite of what they tell us to do.

“They should that they are destroying their future generation”, he added.
