The latest gist on social media is that the man from Ondo State who grew up in Ibadan has won the hearts of the people of Ibadan, and is preparing to join the lords of the ancient kingdom as Agba Akin Majeobaje.
As clients and admirers of Unique Motors are doubtless aware, Saturday March 6th, 2020, is the coronation ceremony of the company’s amiable Chairman, Prince (Dr.) Adesina Adebiyi. As the honour has spilled over to his mum, the month of March is one of double celebrations for the Adebiyis.
In the old days, titles and positions like the Agba Akin Majeobaje come after a great showing. Coronation ceremonies, to this effect, go on for weeks. In short, a man climbing into this status is treated to the best of things, and he plays the generous host for the rest of his life. Then, the prestigious European-American University (EAU) offered him with the honorary title of a PhD holder. And then Ambassador Adesina Adebiyi became Dr. Adesina Adebiyi.
