Stop false information against my client or face litigation – Lamina’s lawyer

A Human Rights Lawyer, Barr. Moses Tawose counsel to Otunba Kamorudeen Lamina has warned online publishers to desists from spreading fake information against his client or face litigation.

 

 

 

 

 

Taowose, gave the warning while addressing newsmen on Wednesday in Lagos after an online platform wrote some unfathomed allegation against Lamina popularly called Sir Kay.

 

 

 

 

He insisted that anyone who peddles fake information about his client will be sued for defamation of character.

 

 

 

 

“Otunba Kamorudeen Lamina is the Chief Director Officer, Omolamina Global Ventures Limited, a motor dealer and also the Director of OGV Hotel.

 

 

 

 

 

“He has a registered company that is into estate Management and Property Development, Lamina is a business man to the core, he is an easy going and law abiding citizen of Nigeria’’.

 

 

 

 

According to the Lawyer, one Lateef Ganiu, aka Eleda has been sending out false information to different media platforms to tarnish the image of his client in order to dodge from all the atrocities he and his cult gangs have been committing in Ikorodu axis of Lagos State and Ogun State.

He said that Lateef Ganiu, Dada Doyin, Shakiru Shitu aka Shakky Adamo, Seun Onifade aka Horro Imota and others have suddenly become a thorn in the flesh of the people of the area.

“They are notorious cultists and hired assassins disturbing the peace of the community in Emure, Imota, Agbòwa and other communities around the axis.
“They also threaten the life of Otunba Lamina and his family members’’ Tawose added.

The lawyer, however, drew the attention of the public to the past event between Ganiu Eleda and RRS police officers who were on duty enroute Ikorodu and Itokin axis were ambushed by the syndicate of Eleda who collected their AK 47 riffle and other weapons and killed one of them.

“There have been several assassinations attempts on my client recently.

“I’m using this medium to beg the Inspector General of Police and the Lagos State commissioner of police to save the life of my client and investigate the suspects.

“This group before they were caught by the law were giving false information to the public from against my client. My client was never involved in any of the heinous crimes.

“All the allegations against him are untrue, there are nothing but mere fabrications to malign and damage his personality and character.
