Supreme Court Validates Tinubu Win, Mandate Group Raises Unity Call

In a landmark ruling on Thursday, the Supreme Court of Nigeria upheld the victory of President Bola Tinubu in the fiercely contested February 25, 2023 presidential election.

The decision reaffirmed the will of the Nigerian people and brought an end to the legal challenges posed by the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and his Labour Party (LP) counterpart, Peter Obi.

In the wake of this significant victory, The Mandate Movement (TMM), a prominent political group under the auspices of the All Progressive Congress (APC), came forward to congratulate President Bola Tinubu, the APC, and the entire nation.

A Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigeria

The Mandate Movement expressed its unwavering support for President Tinubu’s leadership and the Renewed Hope Agenda.

In response to this significant legal triumph, Abdullahi Ayinde Enilolobo, Chairman of The Mandate Movement (TMM), conveyed its assurance that President Tinubu is poised to deliver on the promises of a brighter and more prosperous Nigeria.

In a statement issued through a chieftain of the party, Prince Adewale Arogundade, he said, “the Renewed Hope Agenda represents a comprehensive vision for the nation’s future, touching on critical areas such as economic development, infrastructure, healthcare, education, and security. Enilolobo underscored its commitment of the group to working tirelessly alongside the APC to translate this vision into a reality that benefits all Nigerians.”

A Call for Unity and Cooperation

TMM’s message was clear: now is the time for unity and cooperation. Enilolobo emphasized that the success of President Tinubu’s administration and the realization of the Renewed Hope Agenda depend on the collective efforts of all Nigerians, regardless of their political affiliations.

Enilolobo called on citizens to set aside political differences and work together in building a united and stronger Nigeria. With President Bola Tinubu at the helm, there is a renewed sense of purpose and a shared commitment to steering the nation toward a brighter and more prosperous future.

“As the country looks forward to the days ahead under President Tinubu’s leadership, The Mandate Movement remains dedicated to supporting this new era, filled with hope, vision, and promise,” he assured.
