Going by the indefinite suspension of former Labour Party Chairman, Barr Julius Abure, the National secretary of LP, and two others by the party , Hon. (Eng) Michael Feyisola, a long time Ogun LP state leader and NEC member, presently the state secretary has called on the Federal Government to arrest Abure for inciting non- LP members to cause rebellion which could lead to public disturbance. Abure should be arrested by the FG, for inciting non-LP members to cause rebellion which could lead to public disturbance ”
Speaking from Lagos to our correspondence, SIR FEYI as Feyisola is fondly called said Dr Arabambi, Barr Akingbade, and Elder Ahlaji Apapa spearheaded making Abure LP National chairman before the advent of Obi or any faction contrary to some newcomer leaders opinion. Labour Party is predicated on integrity and anytime that integrity is tampered with, agitation comes up to reposition the party.
He stated that ‘OBIdients are ignorant of LP constitution which is sancronsact in LP and other political pratys polity. “You can’t do anything about that says the court”
Feyisola added that Julius Abure erred by breaching the LP constitution in diverse ways from being financially induced to forgery of court documents and clandestine anti-party activities. Abure never called NEC meeting for once for any constitutional reason. That alone removes him from office.
Balogun Feyisola advised the embattled Chairman to thread the part of the law and surrender himself instead of hiding and sponsoring rebellions against the party.
