Less than a week after he was named the Yoruba man of the Decade, another international recognition has been accorded the General Overseer and Founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations who has been listed among the world’s famous people of all time. According to the listing, Prophet T.B Joshua is among the World’s famous spiritual and religious leaders, a category which included great religious icons such as John the Baptist, Confucius, Dalai Lama, Desmond tutu, Saint Francis of Assisi, Mother Theresa and Martin luther.
In other categories, writers such as Alexander Swift, Lord Byron, Wole Soyinka and John Bunyan were honoured. Renowned scientists such as Isaac Newton,Hippocrates and Blaise Paschal were also listed. Maverick guitarist and rock star Jimi Hendrix as well as the iconic Louis Armstrong, made the cut in the musicians’ category. Prophet T.B joshua and Wole Soyinka are the only Nigerians on the list.
It would be recalled that Prophet T.B Joshua was last week named Yoruba Man of The decade by Pan-Yoruba media online media group, Irohin Odua. According to the group, Chief Obafemi Awolowo emerged Yoruba Man of the Century while Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka was picked as the Yoruba man Of the Year 2014.
