T.B Joshua, Wole Soyinka listed Among World’s Famous People

Less than a week after he was named the Yoruba man of the Decade, another international recognition has been accorded the General Overseer and Founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations who has been listed among the world’s famous people of all time. According to the listing, Prophet T.B Joshua is among the World’s famous spiritual and religious leaders, a category which included great religious icons such as John the Baptist, Confucius, Dalai Lama, Desmond tutu, Saint Francis of Assisi, Mother Theresa and Martin luther.
In other categories, writers such as Alexander Swift, Lord Byron, Wole Soyinka and John Bunyan were honoured. Renowned scientists such as Isaac Newton,Hippocrates and Blaise Paschal were also listed. Maverick guitarist and rock star Jimi Hendrix as well as the iconic Louis Armstrong, made the cut in the musicians’ category. The list released via www.thefamouspeople.com also includes former isreali Prime Minister. Ariel Sharon( politician) and business tycoon, Peter Drucker.
Prophet T.B joshua and Wole Soyinka are the only Nigerians on the list.
It would be recalled that Prophet T.B Joshua was last week named Yoruba Man of The decade by Pan-Yoruba media online media group, Irohin Odua. According to the group, Chief Obafemi Awolowo emerged Yoruba Man of the Century while Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka was picked as the Yoruba man Of the Year 2014.
The popularity of the Man of God has continued to soar even in the face of all thr campaigns of calumny against the humble televangelist whose philosophy of “more on others and less on Ourselves” has become an international model for the propagation of the love christ preached. He has remained a prominent force in humanitarian efforts across the world attracting many foreign nationals to his native Nigeria and making the country the new found hub for spiritual rejuvenation. World leaders and those that matterin global society have continued to visit his ministry in search of answers to the unending questions life throw at them.
Born on June 12, 1963, Temitope Balogun in a rustic village of Arigidi in Akoko, Ondo state, is said to have spent 15 months in his mothers’ womb. His birth and early development is also said to be shrouded in mysteries after narrowly escaping a boulder from a nearby quarry which came crashing inches near him in his parents house.  His ministry, The Synagogue Church of All nations alongside the Emmanuel Television has become synonymous with acts of charity, healing and humanitarian efforts across the globe.
