The Tampan Guild of Directors, a key division of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) under the leadership of Otunba Bolaji Amusan JP, TAMPAN Global President and Amb Titi Jeje, The Guild Chairman. Tampan Guild of Directors is set to host a dynamic two-day event aimed at enhancing the skills of film directors, fostering networking opportunities, and celebrating industry achievements.

 

Event Overview:

 

The two-day event, scheduled for September 19th and 20th, promises an engaging and enriching experience for film professionals across Nigeria.

 

Day 1: September 19th – Short Film Competition

 

Kicking off the event is the Short Film Competition, designed to spotlight emerging talents and showcase creative prowess. This competition will be held at VIVA Cinema in Ibadan, Oyo State, providing a platform for directors to present their work and gain recognition. The event will serve as a vibrant display of innovative filmmaking and storytelling.

 

Day 2: September 20th – A Day of Professional Growth and Celebration

 

The second day of the event is packed with two significant programs:

 

Morning Session: Continuous Professional Education

 

-Time: 10:00 AM

-Venue:Wole Soyinka Theatre, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State

 

This session will feature an array of seasoned speakers who will provide invaluable insights into various facets of film and theatre. Attendees will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and refine their skills, enhancing their professional development.

 

Evening Session: Award & Cultural Night

 

-Time: 5:00 PM

-Venue: Danest Hotel, 47 Adeyi Street, Bodija Estate, Ibadan, Oyo State

 

The grand finale of the event will be marked by the Award & Cultural Night. This glamorous evening will celebrate the achievements of industry professionals and honor outstanding contributions to the field.
