Temple Entertainment Constructs a Global Powerhouse Ogidi Studios In Lagos
A state-of-the-art facility, designed to further entrench Nigeria on global stage has surfaced in Lagos under the name of Ogidi Studios, constructed by the now world acclaimed Temple Entertainment Group.
Before now recording and mastering of songs with great quality has not been easy, but with the entrance of Ogidi Studios, it is truly achievable. This world-class infrastructure according to Mr. Tunde Folawiyo, Group Chairman, Temple Company, is an entire ecosystem of production for both audio and video content from conception to completion.
Mr Folawiyo remarked that Ogidi studios was the culmination of a long-standing vision. “The truth is there are many visions that don’t get realized,” he said. “A combination of vision, tenacity and funding is what brought us here.
The US sound and automation expert who executed the recording Studio for Temple Company, Ron Jones, Founder, Infinite Technology Global noted that with Ogidi Studios, Nigeria now operates on the same level of sound and video capability as other esteemed global players.
He was supported Michael Manitshana, an acclaimed recording engineer with well over 20 year of experience.
“We are playing in a global market and people are looking for a certain standard in recording,” Ron Jones said.
Just few days ago, at 63rd annual Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center, Los Angeles California. Nigerian Artists Burna Boy and Wizkid took the world by storm seizing 2 of the world’s most coveted music awards.
The Federal Government has announced multiple positive programs designed to assist the quickly evolving Nigeria Music industry. The private business sector is also throwing it finical weight behind our young artist.
Ron Jones who is also Managing Partner of Vertigo Africa stated that this company will be an ideal platform to take the talented Artist of Africa and present them to the world while also promoting the highest streaming monetization opportunities possible. They a scheduled to launch internationally within 45 days.
Mr. Idris Olorunnimbe, the Temple Company’s Chief Executive Officer, in his own words said “It has always hurt me when our exceptional talents have to hop on a plane as the only recourse to match their imagination with execution. Ogidi brings an end to that. Anything you can dream can be achieved right here,” he explained.
He further said: “Ogidi Studios is an idea that was long overdue. We are excited to contribute our quota to help bring Nigeria to the table to flex muscles and compete favorably with global players such as celebrated international musicians, producers and creatives who have left a mark.”
