In recent times, you will recall that we have only recorded low turnout of women in politcs particularly those contesting for office of the Governor. At some point when we witness brave women with good interests to contest, at the eve of election, you will not see them on the ballot due to one reason or the other.
Sometimes, I begin to wonder why we don’t have female governorship candidates constesting election till the end, Why? Is it because of the financial capacity, is it because of the campaign stress and activities or the mental fitness?
Well, have you heard of a patriotic woman called chief Dr Jackie Adunni kassim, she’s the mother of many less privileged children, a philanthropist, a cheerful giver, a diligent worker and an encyclopedic leader. For more than two decades ago, Jackie had committed herself to the uplifment of the poor, youths empowerment, creating employment for the people, helping the less privileged children, giving 100% support to public education, taking care of the old and aged, curtailing poverty and many more.
Dr Jackie is the only female governorship candidate running for the position of Governor under the United Democratic Party UDP in ogun state. She has rolled out 7 agenda in her spirit of motherhood to make life better for ogun state citizens.
Many who has one way or the other came across Dr. Jackie Adunni kassim will agree with me that she can deliver on all her promises due to her distinguish attitudes of not comprising and always fulfilling her promises.
Jackie is a selfless woman full with leadership capacity, she leads from the front not the back, she meticulously takes full responsibility of every task and make sure success is the only result.
At this present and crucial moment when good leadership is a scares commodity in our country, Jackie is the missing rib of good leadership.
She can deliver and she will deliver ..
I am concluding on a high spirit that we need to stand up and support a leader that will make a difference. Supporting Chief Dr. Jackie Adunni kassim for ogun state governor is the best thing that can happen to our democracy and governance.
