Tito Da.Fire Goes Up In Musical Flames…Unplugged At FireHits Rehearsals Session (Photos)
After a successful release of his highly anticipated “One
Kiss” album featuring Beenieman, Wouter Kellerman, Fela Kuti and a bevy of
talented Nigerian artistes, Tito Da.Fire (Uduak J. Peters), treated fans,
talent managers and the media to a live unplugged session as he unveiled his
new colorful and mind-blowing musical haven.
FireHits Studio, where he says will bring every musical
artiste a notch higher and a touch closer to inspiring live music, is one the
best music rehearsals/production hubs we have in town as it boasts of extra
modern equipment that will stand the test of time.
On what berthed the idea of opening a rehearsal studio in
Maryland Lagos and tagging it “FIREHITS Rehearsal Studio” Tito Da.Fire said,
“it is a baby of the future, when I had to perform in South Africa with Wouter
Kellerman, I dreamt having an uncommon live music rehearsal ambience where
music and passion can meet, not just for me but for the industry”
The event highlight was Tito Da.Fire performing songs from
his new “One Kiss” album such as “Dream Come True”, “One Kiss” and “Tea No
Sugar” featuring Mima and a host of other artistes and the event was supported
by IDL Limited, G2M Creatives and packaged by Grindiin Records.

Tumi Lawrence hinted that Tour dates would be announced for various cities and
countries within the next few days and thanked fans for making “one Kiss Album
trend on iTunes for several weeks after release and said that was a glimpse of
the iceberg coming out from Tito Da.fire.
Tito Da.Fire is a versatile Afrocentric artist
whose fusion of modern pop with Afrobeat, World, Reggae and traditional
Nigerian Percussive groove is steadily shinning rays on “Ganta Music”,
his unique musical genre. His collaboration with Grammy Award winning
International Star Beenieman and Grammy Award Winning Flutist Wouter
Kellerman further highlighted Tito Da.Fire’s versatility and
cross-cultural appeal. On stage, he brings an energetic and captivating
experience to look forward to, as he lays bare the flames of his heart and soul
into his melodious renditions, a sight to behold.
Singing started at age 10 as a member of Kollotianz.
In the early 90s, he found a career as a premium Voice-Over artist and singer
in the Nigerian Entertainment industry, where he became the official Close-up
toothpaste and Fanta Voice. His music and entertainment sojourn saw
him grace the stages of multinational events, such Kennis Music Easter
Fiesta, One Lagos Festival, Akwa Ibom and Calabar Festivals,
and had won several awards with his Duo Gent2Men partner Michael
“Mickey” Peters back in 2003, with their hit “MaJeKaJa” earning a spot in
the top 5 of the most played songs in Nigeria on Cool 96.9Fm, Ray Power 100.5,
Rhythm 93.7Fm top 93 songs and Mtn top 10 best songs of 2003 and won
Best R&B song. Other media nominations include Fame Music Award, Amen
Awards, and The Future Awards.
