Tiwa Savage Almost Kidnapped – Kidnappers Arrested
Sahara Weekly Reports That Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, was reportedly nearly kidnapped late Thursday, April 13th 2023 with the collusion of her own driver.
Nigerian investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, broke the sensational news.
According to her, Tiwa’s new driver was passing information to the kidnappers as they planned to capture the singer.
Thankfully, the plot was discovered and all those involved were arrested.
Kemi Olunloyo wrote: “Earlier today Thursday, April 13th 2023, an attempt was made to KIDNAP Tiwa Savage in Lagos. A new domestic staff specifically a driver was passing information to his co-conspirators who have been trailing her as she left home for days.
“The guys have all been arrested with the help of vigilante style private security and they were handed to police at CID Alagbon in Ikoyi.
“Celebrities be very careful and wary of your domestic staff at all times. Nigeria is very very dangerous these days. Don’t post your children online or your home etc. Just post your WORK. Tiwa is OK and in seclusion. I haven’t spoken with her and police will brief the media soon,”
We thank God that Tiwa Savage was not kidnapped.

Tiwatope Savage, known professionally as Tiwa Savage, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress who has been called the Queen of Afrobeats. Born in Isale Eko, she relocated to London at the age of 11 for her secondary education.
She began her music career doing backup vocals for artists such as George Michael and Mary J. Blige. Tiwa participated in the UK edition of The X Factor, whilst also graduating from Berklee College of Music.
Savage sings in English and Yoruba; her music is a blend of Afrobeats, R&B, pop and hip-hop.[10] Savage’s contributions to the Nigerian music industry have earned her several achievements. She has been involved in youth empowerment and breast cancer screening projects and has raised funds to build schools in Nigeria.
Savage is 43 years old, born on 5 February 1980. She has one son.
In April 2023. Tiwa Savage was almost kidnapped in Lagos but survived due to her security being up to the task.
