If the going ons in Tonto Dike’s life is anything to go by then Nollywood might need to start shopping for another “Bad Girl”as it would seem that Tonto Dike has finally found God.
Tonto who is an on-screen and off-scren bad girl took to her Instagram page to share some inspiring religious post, Poko as she is fondly called declared that she had finally found peace with God, “I am more appreciative than was yesterday. When you truly know the value of life, I bet you money becomes the least of your worries; making heaven is all the rich seek. [I] am glad I found peace with my God”.
“Truth is I will fall and fail him more times than I ever did and that’s because I’m human. For now I know my God and my God knows me too,” she wrote.
We might have Pastor T. B Joshua to thank for jump starting her journey towards spiritual awakening as the actress some years ago claimed the clergy man helped her quit smoking; also her close friend and personal designer Jerry of Swanky Style whom she claims took her to church, perhaps we could also chuck her new found faith up to the death of her friend and co-actor Muna Obiekwe.
Whichever it is, for now we can only pray Tonto doesn’t backslide. Amen!!!
