Top five upcoming Nigerian Gospel Artistes going global in 2018

 

 

The Nigerian music scene is flooded with so many artistes with diverse genres such as hiphop,   gospel amongst others  but it seems only the hiphop artistes get most of the rewards that comes with being talented. They get the awards, the money, travel overseas, living a flamboyant lifestyle .
However, even as much as the hiphop artistes have taken over, we Still have several Gospel artistes who have proven they are up to the task: the likes of Nathaniel Bassey, Frank Edwards, Eben, Sinach, Tope Alabi, and the likes.
Sahara weekly have brought you a List of top five upcoming Gospel artistes who have the prospects to really go global in 2018
1 Tobi Osho : Tobi Osho has been a gospel artiste right from onset. He has been doing gospel music since he was nine years old. He started as a choir in church , went to the higher institution, became the assistant music director in Kogi State University and also became a very prominent member of the Choir in covenant university, Ota. He has amazingly blessed a lot of people with his Facebook live worship videos and has become a household name in the Nigerian gospel scene. In 2017, he released an EP titled Beyond sound and it really went viral. It became the leading sound in the global scene within weeks of its release. According to our findings, he has been endorsed by a leading foreign vocalist , Jaymoss via Instagram. He was called recently by Nigerian artiste, Nosa . He was applauded years ago by gospel artiste, Flo rocka, and many more. With this, no doubt, 2018 is definitely a year to go gblobal for him
2 Chen Emmanuel : sighting this young man, one would think he isn’t a Nigerian. He looks exactly like a Chinese or probably  an half cast. In the year 2017, we reliably gathered that he met with some great gospel ministers who are not Nigerian, among whom is Donnie Mcklurkin. He also did songs which people definitely woke up to listen to. He is no doubt going global in 2018.
3 Tony Oge Richie : Tony Oge Richie is a gospel minister who is also a prophet. Its really a rare combination but very powerful own. He released a song titled, ‘You never fail’ in 2017 and it enjoyed massive airplay even till now. He has been invited for almost all programmes held in the east . He held a concert in 2017 which was massive and has shared stage with lot of Gospel ministers of high reverence.
4 Jo deep : Jo deep is a gospel minister whose sound is quite different from others. He sounds really creative and this remains one of the reasons he is needed globally. Apart from being a gospel artiste, he is also a pastor and this makes it a very great journey in the ministry for him. He is also a guitarist.
5 Omolayo : This is the same Omolayo who was on project fame some years ago though  he lost out during the competition. His venture into the gospel world is an amazement. One would think he will go into circular music like his peers but he didn’t. He has shown that he is a complete church boy. Omolayo since his venture into gospel music has released couple of songs which are soul lifting and Inspiring. If he continues in that trend. He will surely make it to the global market in 2018.
