TOURISM: Top 5 Places To Visit In 2023

Tourism is a haven of knowledge, enlightenment, and fun. It’s one of the basic paths to ease stress, engage your minds in a meaningful expedition, and at the same time gladden your souls. Here are five top countries to visit in 2023…

1) New Zealand

From the volcanic North Island to the mountainous South Island, travelers are heading back to this dramatic destination that remained virtually isolated for years.  It’s thrilling to have the opportunity to sip sauvignon blancs, enjoy stunning vistas and wonder at the country’s awesome beauty yet again.  Some activities include hiking, hot air ballooning, rafting, biking, bungee jumping, visiting vineyards, and trekking…just to name a few.

2) Morocco

Morocco was ready to be a top travel destination in 2020 so it’s had a few years to perfect their hotels and services.  It’s an exotic destination with warm hospitality that makes you feel right at home. With winding medinas, stunning deserts, vibrant cities, and warm and friendly locals, Morocco is a top destination for 2023.

3) South Africa

One part of the world that flourished during COVID was the national parks of Africa. Without tourists, the animals had the chance to really roam.  Now that tourism is coming back, it’s the perfect time to get down to South Africa and see the incredible animal kingdom.  Top it off with happening restaurants in Cape Town and delicious Pinotage in the winelands.  Be sure to check out how you can get a more local experience by volunteering for a day.

) Turkey

Turkey is a rich and diverse historical landscape waiting to be discovered.  The exquisite markets and historical sites along the Bosporus in Istanbul are just the starting point.  Imagine taking a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia or relaxing by the sea in Bodrum.  Travelers can experience a truly magical and well-balanced, vacation.

5) Costa Rica

Costa Rica has always been a popular destination, but even more so in 2023 as travelers are starting to branch back out into Latin America.  From beaches to rainforests, the rich ecosystems can entertain its visitors for a long weekend or weeks on end.  Amongst the surfing, rafting and waterfall hiking, be sure to explore some of the volunteer opportunities to see a different side of this beautiful country and its welcoming people
