UDP Mega Rally : Ogun Masses Drums Support For UDP Governorship Candidate
Jackie Adunni kassim, yesterday, at the United Democratic
Party (UDP) Governorship Mega Rally, in Abeokuta , promised that
Abeokuta, as commercial capital of State, would continue to receive greater
attention in terms of infrastructural renewal and all round economic growth
UDP supporters across the state were seen carrying placards
and other promotional materials for Governorship Candidate at the rally held at
Itosi, Burry, Lanfenwa, Sapon , oke lewo among others in Abeokuta.
Bigwigs stormed the rally to canvass for votes for the
candidate of the party in the March 9 governorship election and declared that
the party would resist rigging as allegedly being plotted by the opposition
parties.
Addressing the mammoth crowd, Director General Of Iyadunni
Campaign organization comrade fowosere said, “By the glory of God,
Abeokuta South people are very peaceful and we can see the clear demonstration
of love for our intellectual and capable mother, Dr Jackie Ogun Governorship hopeful.
He urged supporters not to vote for other parties but UDP .
“We believe Abeokuta is full of people with the
highest level of manpower and professors. Our youths are very strong,
innovative and resourceful and not lazy, they are leaders of tomorrow.
However…itoku market women showed their love and support
seeing a female candidate that organised a fantastic rally without violence
unlike others.
However, itoku market women also show live and support for
the Governorship hopeful glad to see the first female candidate that will did
fantastic rally they all salute her courage.

advised Jackie to continue doing good as his name implies and she should
perform excellently than the incumbent if given the mandate to govern us
in Ogun State.
Dr Jackie while addressing supporters at the event promised
to transform Ogun state if elected by providing drugs for our health care
centers, gives out empowerment to youth, give widows at least 5 thousand naira
every month.
Iyadunni urged the UDP members and supporters to shun
violence but to use their votes to defend their rights.
Leaders of ethnic groups, Okada riders, road transport
unions and National Union of Local Government Employees also attended the
event.
