University college hospital (UCH) to be responsible for Baba Sala’s Hospital bill

The Chief Medical Director, University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Oyo State, Professor Temitope Alonge, on Thursday, disclosed that the health institution had written off the medical bill of veteran actor, Moses Olaiya a.k.a Baba Sala. Professor Alonge made this known when he paid a visit to the ace comedian on his sick bed, according to the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Deji Bobade. According to Professor Alonge, “all the bills incurred for treating Baba Sala would be borne by UCH.”

Alonge added that “Baba Sala is a national hero who should enjoy now in his old age.” He noted that heroes like him should not only be honoured in death, saying he deserves all honour while alive that he can appreciate. The veteran actor was admitted at the hospital on Monday evening following a health challenge last weekend.
