Veteran Ghanaian actor, Rev Eddie Coffie, is dead

 

 

Report by Myjoyonline has it that veteran Ghanaian actor and president of the Ghana Actors Guild, Rev Eddie Coffie has died.

Rev Eddie is said to have died in the early hours of Friday October, 30th after a brief illness which saw him being admitted at the Ridge Hospital in Accra.

He was elected president of Ghana Actors Guild (GAG), the umbrella body for Ghanaian actors in October last year, 2014.

The actor was said to have been battling an unknown ailment for some months and went into coma a week ago.

He was also the Greater Accra Secretary of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches (GPCC).
