Wave Making Gospel Act, Liz Ishola Opens Up On Career and success secrets

Wave making Gospel singer, Liz Ishola ( Farayola) has finally released her much anticipated album titled Almighty Father. In an exclusive chat with us she opened up on her life, career and success secrets. Except….

Can we meet you ?

My name is Liz Ishola (farayola), Nigerian Gospel musician, singer and songwriter born on the 3rd of November 1978. I hail from Ogbomosho Oyo State. I attended Model primary School, Olivet Baptist High School and Ibadan Polytechnic. (Marketing).
I am married with children and this my much talked about album was released on 29 Dec 2019,

Title Of The Album:

The title of the album is Almighty father and it comes With Seven tracks, Humbly I come, Almighty Father, Mo sinmi Lee o, Fix your eyes on Him, You gave it to me, with all my Heart and You are my God

Inspiration:

The Holy Spirit inspired it. I love to write songs. And when I saw the number of the songs I’ve composed were in hundreds, I became scared and the Spirit of God told me if I don’t use what I have been given well it can be given to another person.

Success Secrets:

God and Tenancity. I have been singing from as young as I became wise as a child and I have not stopped. I don’t allow anyone or anything to discourage me. I decided to be focused because singing is my passion. It flows naturally from within me. I learn and I’m still learning from others to improve on myself.

Challenges:

There are challenges but when you know the God that you serve you are sure He will fix them all. Taking the step to release an album itself was a challenge for me, but i thank God for my Husband for his immense support. He saw the way I sing new songs at home in the middle of the night and he said you have to put all these together and act on it. Many of my friends too helped to boost my confidence. I thought of who will produce the album, how to go about the marketing and advert. Peterocks (Gbenga Adegoke) produced the album, he is so supportive and selfless. It was recorded and mixed at Symphony Studio Ibadan. I bless God because today it has come to pass,
