There has been uproar in the country since last week over the planned arrest of Cleric, Apostle Suleman on his speech on Fulani Herdsmen. He told his church members to kill Fulani herdsmen whenever they see them around due to the way they also slaughter Christians in some parts of Nigeria. This made the SSS to burst into his hotel room at Ekiti and arrest him but the timely intervention of Governor Fayose foiled the arrest.
However, today, 30TH Of January, 2016, it was gathered that the SSS invited him for questioning which he honoured as a law abiding citizen.
Ever since this crisis started, a lot of fellow Christians and clerics have lend their voices for this same cause and among them is Dr Chris Okafor -the founder, Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries (MLMM) aka Liberation City, has, while lamenting the spate of killings in Kaduna said that “nobody owns this country” and that “We are keeping quiet does not mean we are powerless. We can do something, we can fight, enough is enough, if the country doesn’t belong to all of us again, let it be divided’
Furhermore, he said ‘’ In a country where there is law, they are killing people and nobody seems to be saying anything, whenever anyone say anything against it, they come against that person, we are all ready to die for it’
