“I am appealing to Senator Abiru and Honourable Babatunde Jimi Benson to come to our aid, we need modern markets, and parks in the community, we have over 36 CDAs in the community, and we need streets if you visit the Ikorodu area everywhere light even if is at night you would know, we are lagging behind”, he said.
Ajayi, one of the actors in Nigeria’s political firmament turned Royal father said that God’s grace and faithfulness made it possible for him to become the head of Eletu of the Oke-Eletu community.
“Destiny has an uncanny hand in the conduct and affairs of men. It foretells the human essence and consciousness or whatever one becomes or whatever happens in one’s life.
“As destiny will have his way, though I’m from Ayanolu descendants in Oke-Eletu both my forefathers are from royal families of Rademo descendants which are Ayanolu and Shogba families so its the will of God.
“Ayanolu and Shogba family rotate the kingship after the demise of any head, now it is the turn of Ayanolu,” he added
He said he was pursuing his political career believing that one day he will be the state governor or house of Representatives member of the state.
“I feel great being in this position, this is a higher post as supreme head among other communities in Lagos state.
“For the eight months now that I came on the throne, I have addressed some issues concerning the administration of the community which was very tasking.
“Everything is taking shape, for example, the two family descendants are having meetings to know how to manage the affairs of the community which was not in existence previously.
“Presently, we have created an avenue comprising the two ruling families where we meet every Friday to discuss and make decisions without biased or sentiments and this has led to the development, progress, and well-being of the community.
