Why Aarebirin Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba Is The Right Person To Become The Next Chairman Of Ikorodu LG

Leadership, at any capacity requires a lot of experience, quality antecedents, excellent human relations, and many more, any leader that is void of these will definitely make his or her followers go astray, and I’m very sure Ikorodu Local Government wouldn’t want to toil that path.

Very soon, the local government election primaries will be held across Lagos, but Ikorodu happen to be where my heart is, having spent couple of years and getting to establish my organization over there. Ikorodu local government is very dear to me, and we can’t allow it to be put in the hands of a mediocre.

Among every other aspirants, Honourable Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, the current vice-chairman of the local government stands out, this is not a conclusion made on sentiment or for the sake of any form of benefits, but in politics today, there is need for the people to hand leadership to whom deserves it.

Aarebirin Honourable Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, is definitely one of the leading women in Nigerian politics today, I have never come across anyone as selfless as She is, little wonder her recognition has gone beyond the Local level, state level to the national level.

At the moment, She is the national deputy chairman of the association of Local government vice chairmen of Nigeria,  the Chairman ( Lagos East Senatorial District)Lagos State Association of council vice chairmen,  Global president of the Yoruba Council Of Women Worldwide and Yeye Arewa Odua, and many other positions she has occupied.

As the vice chairman of Ikorodu Local government,  Aarebirin Hon.Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba has been able to do her job with all intelligence, sincerity, capability, excellence, passion, and love for Ikorodu, during this period, She is also the founder of shelter of Grace Foundation and through the foundation, she is able, and still catering for hundreds of Ikorodu indigenes.

During the Covid-19 surge that led to months of lockdown in Lagos state, her foundation was active in giving succor to the less privileged, market women, people that couldn’t feed themselves since they couldn’t go to work, She shared personal palliatives in different batches at different time to the people of Ikorodu and beyond.

What we need in a leader is selflessness, hardwork, sincerity, loyalty, excellence and experience, Honourable Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba is a carrier of these qualities, indeed, one good turn deserves a greater one, therefore, Lets support Aarebirin Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba in her quest to become the next chairman of Ikorodu Local government, for a greater Ikorodu. IRE NI O 2021
