Nollywood Veteran actor, Raphael Niyi Stephen who just premiered his first movie entitled “At the Darkest Hour” in Lagos State has revealed that his decision to produce a gospel-like movie was an effort to fulfill his covenant with God.
“I have made a covenant with God that my first film will be a gospel movie and I appreciate God that this came to a reality and I am dedicating this movie which is my first fruit to Him,” Stephen revealed.
The movie which teaches on how to be patient and faithful even during difficulties also emphasized that people must be steadfast and remain in God despite tensely the challenge, because He tests faiths in hard times.
The movie which got everyone glued to their sits during the premiere, according to the brains behind it, came out of the need to encourage and restore the faiths of those who are facing rough times and even backslided as a result of one challenge or the other.
He added that the new work will enhance people to have a full understanding on how to relate with God, especially when going through temptations or any challenges, while he also noted that the movie was culled out from his mentor and pastor’s book entitled: “At the Darkest Hour” to educate people, especially those in such situation. He also acknowledged the supports of everyone that contributed to the success of the project, especially the movie director, Segun Kayode(K-Factor) and Assistant Director, Ademola Ishola.
